Furtherwild privacy information
Development preview · Updated October 19, 2026
Furtherwild is an Arbito LLC game in development. This page describes the current prototype. A release privacy policy will be finalized before public downloads are offered.
Guest play and local saves
The game supports offline guest play and keeps a save on your device. An Arbito account is optional. Deleting a cloud account does not remove files from your own device.
Optional account and cloud saves
Arbito handles sign-in under the Arbito account privacy policy. When you connect an account, Furtherwild stores its account ID, available email and username, your cloud save, save version, device identifier and app version. The server also records supported point-use receipts and owned items so they can be restored.
Gameplay analytics
The prototype records first-party gameplay events, including app and session activity and supported progression events. Guest events use a random installation identifier; signed-in events use your Arbito account ID. Events may include platform, app version, time and game identifiers. The event fields do not accept free-text messages.
Analytics is enabled by default in the current prototype. You can turn it off in the game’s options. This stops collection, clears queued events and stops sending them. Offline events are queued locally while analytics is enabled.
Hosting and deletion
Furtherwild’s online service is hosted on Railway. Hosting and security logs can include network and request information. Arbito processes shared sign-in and points activity. Signed-in saves and related account records remain while your account exists; deleting the Arbito account triggers deletion of Furtherwild’s account-linked saves, items, receipts and gameplay events. A hashed deletion receipt is retained for up to 30 days to prevent stale sessions from recreating the account.
See account deletion instructions. For guest analytics deletion or questions about hosting-log and analytics retention, contact support@arbito.co. These retention details are part of the pre-release policy review.
Your choices and rights
You can play offline, leave sign-in disconnected, disable gameplay analytics and request access, correction or deletion of your personal data. Depending on your location, additional rights can include portability, restriction or objection, and a complaint to a privacy regulator. We do not sell personal data. An Arbito account requires age 13 or older.
Optional shared profile pictures
Where picture settings are available, you can choose initials, a saved avatar design, or a photo you select. Arbito stores your picture choice, avatar design, uploaded picture derivatives, review status, and picture reports or blocks. The same selected picture is used by your connected Arbito apps; editing it does not make a private task list, workout, or profile public.
Uploaded photos are processed on Arbito's server to remove embedded metadata and make square versions. We do not keep the original upload. We use Cloudinary to store the processed shared profile pictures. When you choose a new shared photo, supported apps show it privately to you while other people keep seeing your previous public picture. It is available only to you and authorized reviewers until approval. Approval makes it public automatically if it is still your chosen photo; choosing another picture first cancels that switch. Older apps may require explicit selection after approval. If a photo is not approved, your previous picture remains public and returns in your own view; review status is available in picture settings. An approved public profile photo is accessible to anyone with its image link, even if another part of an app is private. Your saved avatar remains available when you choose a photo. The current Furtherwild game displays the public picture; its browser-based account editor can show your private pending choice.
You can remove a photo or switch to initials in picture settings. Switching to an avatar or initials keeps a saved photo private for reuse; use Remove photo to delete it. Choosing another approved photo removes the previous retained photo; review decisions can also remove a picture. Account deletion schedules removal of stored picture files. Removal from active display happens before file cleanup; supported app and server caches normally revalidate within five minutes; offline or saved copies can remain longer, and copies another person saved may remain outside our control. Restricted recovery backups may retain removed data until their applicable retention period expires. Review and safety records are used to operate and protect the account service. Contact support@arbito.co to report a picture or ask about removal.
